Accessibility

A website designed for clear access.

ALDERVYN aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA and continues to test the website across devices and interaction methods.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, navigation and forms
  • A keyboard-visible skip link and focus indicators
  • Keyboard-operable mobile navigation with Escape-key closing
  • Text alternatives and intrinsic dimensions for content images
  • Responsive layouts tested from narrow mobile to wide desktop
  • Reduced-motion support and no required animation
  • No audio, video, flashing content, drag-only or time-limited interactions
  • Browser-native form labels, requirements and validation

Known limitations

The enquiry form opens the visitor’s email application rather than submitting through the website. Some model imagery is CGI and is identified in nearby text; we continue reviewing alternative text and contextual disclosures as imagery changes.

Reporting a problem

Email info@aldervyn.co.uk if you encounter an accessibility barrier. Please include the page, device, browser and a short description where possible.

Assessment approach

The source is checked using automated structural validation, keyboard interaction, zoom, responsive viewport review and manual browser inspection. A formal third-party accessibility certification is not claimed.
